WELL. what a weekend we had. (yes I know it's Wednesday, just deal.)

Friday night the lawn mower broke, so Jed spent like 3 hours tinkering with it - and finally got it to work!
Then Saturday morning the dishwasher started pouring water....
(which is semi-normal.. it does this every couple of weeks and we haven't gotten around to fixing it or replacing it, cuz the rest of the time it works fine!)
Then the washing machine started pouring water...
Lucky for us my dad is like Mr. I-Can-Fix-Anything so he came over and the boys were working on that dang washing machine for like 5 hours! can you believe it!
But, 5 hours later, $50 later, we can wash our clothes again!
I'm so happy - we got this washing machine from an unknown person and it had been nearly 10 years old. so i was thinking we were gonna have to fork out some dough to buy a whole new one - and those things are killer expensive!
But, thanks to my Dad and my awesome Husband, we're only out $50!
(i did take pictures of the project - but sadly my phone is holding them hostage. lame.)
ANYWAY
While the men were at work, I went with my mom on some of her errands.
I love spending time with my Mom. She's the greatest.
And she doesn't call me a freak. (well, doesn't mean it when she calls me that, at least!)
